Time to move on...

Honestly speaking I enjoyed working better than studying (oops... did I just say that out loud? hope my parents won't kill me :P) since: homework
2. no exams
3. got money!!! (this is the most important point, I must say)

But of course there are shortcomings to working, like:
1. cannot be late ('cause you may be fired after repeating the same mistake 2 or 3 times!)
2. must be fast learner (or not will always get lecturing from seniors)
3. complicated interpersonal relationships

But anyway, studying is really what we should do while we are still young and fresh (e.g. before we wilt) so I have to move on to the next phase of my life: college.

A digitalised version of Inti College Subang Jaya... Currently pursuing Cambridge A-levels there... Nothing very interesting has happened so far...

Will keep you updated in the future... =)

I digress, but:

do you know how to identify fake smiles from the genuine ones? Try this.

A Mountaineer's Journey

It has been 4 months. 4 months that I have been away from the comforts of my home, and into the unknown, into working life. (ok maybe it's a tad bit dramatic... :P)

I've gained a lot, e.g. in terms of:
i) knowledge (esp computer skills and customer service)
ii) interpersonal skills (how people can sometimes be hypocrites at the workplace..not everyone! just some of them...), and also...
iii) weight. (seriously! with meals at odd hours and bosses that keep on belanja-ing you, it's pretty much inevitable... :)

anyway to cut things short, these are a some pics I took while working at Genting...

~*Me and my assistant manager, Jade (who has been promoted to manager! congrats ya!)*~

~*from left, Aileen, assistant manager, Mr. Wong Yoke Onn, manager, me (staff..;P), Mr Peter Leow, manager~*

~*Staff hostel lobby...*~

~*Staff laundry area*~

~*Candy Thong, my colleague, and I... pretty, isn't she?*~

~*Yoke Peng, my badminton and karaoke "kaki"... will definitely miss her..*~

~*from left: Serene Seah (GSA), Veron Wong (GSA), Jacynta (Assistant manager), Mr Lim Dow Fong (assistant manager), me, Yoke Peng... At Be A Star Karaoke ..^o^...*~

These are be memories that I shall treasure for the rest of my life. My feelings ah, really cannot be described into words (sorry for the cliche) so I really thank God for giving me such a good opportunity to learn, to live, to experience.

My dear Genting pals, if you're reading this, do take care, stay strong, most importantly stay happy... :)
