Is it love?

Yan Ting & Andrew

Today during lunch.

4 kids at the table. Yan Ting & Andrew finished their meals and got up to clean up at the same time.
E Jayn

E Jayn: Yan Ting 和 Andrew 一起吃完,他们就会一起结婚! Since Yan Ting & Andrew finished at the same time, they will get married!
Yeu Han

Yeu Han: 那我要跟你一起吃完。。。Then I want to finish eating the same time as you...

E Jayn: You say that one more time and I'm going to slap you're buttock! (haha she said this in english)

Yeu Han: 杨老师,什么是buttock? (Teacher, what is buttock?)

MDD- Mom Dependency Disorder

With mom whisked away to Scotland with sis for more than a week now, it's a miracle Dad and I are still ventilating. THANKFULLY there's ah kong & ah ma to keep us fed & alive for the week. It's amazing how many things you don't realize moms do for you!

And NOW I know why my mom cleans the house so often. I clean toilet bowl, and the next day there's poop stuck to the side already! (don't ask me who, I asked but no one owned up) I sweep + mop the floor, and the very next day it gets dusty.

Like what's the point??

I'm now considering introducing disposable poop-bags and disposable shoes to be worn in the house so we won't turn into a disease carrying household that suffers from MDD (refer to blog title)

Oh ya and the breakfast! Usually I just wake up and breakfast is prepared, or at least the raw materials for it are accessible (eg sausages/jam/peanut butter/cheese) but now my dad, also an MDD sufferer, fails (or ignores!) this whole process and once again, ah kong & ah ma saves the day.

And ah ma felt a little dizzy yesterday and asked me to take her blood pressure (we have the battery operated one, not the manual one). I think it was 140/79 and I had to double check my Bio textbook to know which category it fell in! So un-professional. If it was my mom she would be like "Oh it's a bit high, maybe because..." and she'll give a reasonable explanation for it. And anyway it'll help ah ma psychologically anyway since my mom's (a nurse) more credible ma. When I had to refer to my books, she gave me that skeptical "Haiyo shouldn't have asked her in the first place" look.

Oh ya speaking of my ah ma, she told me an incident yesterday and I almost laughed my head off. I think my sense of humour is getting stranger and stranger. Maybe it's cause I haven't laughed in a while. Here it is: (translated from Mandarin, of course)

She was talking about how troublesome stray cats were.

Ah Ma: You know there used to be a stray cat who LOVED to poop under our staircase. EVERY DAY also have to poop there.

Me: Then what did you do?

Ah Ma: One day I cannot tahan already so I took it by the neck and forced it to eat its own poop.

Me: (ROFL-ing) How did you force it?

Ah Ma: Just put its mouth near to the poop and it started eating lo..

Me: omg hahahahahhahaa

Oh nooo I think I seriously need a social life. Anyone found that funny or is it just me?

Anyway I found this video here, and it's about why Caucasian guys get Asian girls but Asian guys rarely get to date Caucasian gals. Pretty funny! Esp in the "Ni Hao Ma" part. So true!

2 things that made my day

1. A (or maybe more) good laugh with college friends on lame stuff eg. I mentioned that in a drama series a character was paralysed due to skiing accident and everyone else heard skin accident instead of skiing and we were all like "hahahahaha you knock skin to skin and get paralysed hahaha" until i was in tears (sry for lack of punctuation)

2. This.

ADAM LAMBERT YOU ROCK! Literally :P

To all pre AS & A2 candidates, good luck and study hard + smart! (and may Malaysia be blessed with non-swine flu-ness. Or not I get paranoid everytime someone coughs/sneezes, and hold my breath for 10 seconds o.O)

Neurons all jumbled up

This is a really "rojak"-ed post 'cause I'm torn between blogging and revising Bio for next mon's mock! So a quickie is the only way to go :)

But firstly:

Happy Belated Birthday Koo Yen Woon!!!

Thanks for being such a great friend for the past 8++ years and I'm sooo glad to have you in my life! Rock on my superb songstress~

And some sketches Mama made at college:

Mama was halfway trimming her fringe hence the displaced lock of hair

And brace yourselves... mama was going to sketch CK, one of our classmates...

And it turned out to look something like this!

It was then we decided it looked too much like...

Datuk Lee Chong Wei!!!

And some Secret Recipe stuff Suat Hoon n I had for lunch :)

Oreo Cheese Cake!

BBQ Chicken Rice

Somehow we ate till the cake sorta looked like an arrow :)

Okay!!

Gotta studystudystudy...

Glee

Yay I passed my driving test! Though I stopped before the line on the bukit 1st time round... Everything went well, thanks to:

  • God who answered my prayers
  • Suzanne n college mates who used law of attraction for me
  • Grandparents who calmed me down this whole morning when I constantly yelled around the house with 10 second intervals
And oh ya no forgetting my lucky red undies driving jeans :)

This is what boredom does to me

The holidays are boring me to the extent that I may not only rot. I may just as well grow roots and photosynthesize right at home. So my parents can eat my leaves. Okay I'm just crapping. You have to understand my mind has entered a chronically degenerative state.

The thing is, I MISS MY FRIENDS!!! I MISS COLLEGE!!! I MISS LIFE!!! (esp social life)

woo...T.T

Okay this is the start of a really poetic post. This is not me emo-ing. Or trying to shed a new skin and try to be the next Blake Lively. I really mean what I write. By the way an update on my Genting trip with college friends like 2 weeks ago :)

Friends are for discovering your...well...uh...undiscovered talent. They'll bring out the actor/actress/supermodel (or sampat-ness) in you :)

Friends are for holding on to. Whether when you've heard a weird (and super eerie!) noise coming from the hotel toilet or when you're seconds before the plunge in Space Shot. The best of friends, they'll never let go.

Friends show you how to fly. How it's never wrong to dream, even the most naive or absurd ones, 'cause having a dream is like having a reason to live ^^

Friends remind you you're never too old for something. Just a tad too heavy for it; poor purple dino :P (looks like the Jurassic Park version of barney eh?)

Friends teach you it's okay to be outrageous & melodramatic once in a while. People really can't be sane all the time =)

Friends try to be in step with one another, no matter how different their background and upbringing they may have. With just a little practice, cooperation and patience, it'll be something worth jumping for joy.

Friends cherish moments together, even on rainy days. Even when everyone's drenched to the bone.. XD

Friends share their deepest, darkest (and some erotic) secrets without holding back; because they know true friends won't be judge them from their past and embrace the fact that everyone makes mistakes...

Friends show you how to be passionate about life and how to turn every single moment into priceless memories. Sometimes it wonders me too how just a spurt of water can make us all scream in delight :)

If life is a road, I'm glad I've got friends walking me through it.

Speechless

Ahaha, so happy today. (gosh I sound bimbotic) *grins as wide as the circumference of the Earth*

I'm so happy today that if you slapped me on the cheek I would have sayang-ed you back. Today, farts smell good. Bile juice tastes yummy. Jabba the Hut looks beautiful. Durians are nice to touch.

Here comes the long list of thanks:
  • To mom: for pushing hard enough (ouch I feel pain already) and nurturing me for 9 months
  • To dad: for... planting the seed? (no offense but it must be much easier than mom's job)
  • To mom & dad: for the birthday cake ^^
  • To ah kong and ah ma: for the angpows and taking such good care of me :)
  • To Tiffany, Callie, Yoke Peng, Wan Ying, Shen Min, Chai Cheen, Suat Hoon, Qiuhong, Mr. James Tan, Michelle, Yun Yun, Mei Jee and Shan May for the sweet birthday wishes via sms/comments on Facebook/Friendster...
  • To Yen Woon: for spending almost a day with me at AEON Bukit Tinggi
free "manicure" session...

courtesy of yen woon!

thanks a million!

plus a cute handphone deco and b'day cake (sry no pic available)

and also an hour of (free) karaoke at Green Box...!

  • To Kay kay, Sweat, Lih Yi and Suzanne for that x100651984321 super super super sweet surprise at college! (ask me personally for more info *wink)

and thanks for the cute tote too! I'm so in love with it <3

'Cause actually to me, it doesn't really matter what birthday gifts or how many birthday wishes I get; I'm just glad I have great friends and family that simply care. Cliched as it may sound, it's really the sincerity that counts... that's why I'm so damn happy and so damn touched *sob*

Don't get me wrong though. I'm still feeling itchy all over. Doc says it's viral infection.

But somehow today it feels so, so, so much better :)

Love you guys! seriously! it has been the BEST birthday in 17 years (minus the itch la)

New haircut

Certain people seem to have a sort of emotional attachment to their hair... but I'm okay la. On a sudden urge I just mentioned I wanted short hair for a change, and my classmate Suzanne offered to do it for me! Introducing:

The hair stylist!

Haha in case you're wondering where I did my haircut, it was at college. Before, during and after class ;P

Side and back views:
Suzanne has not received any professional training but she's pretty good at it don't you think? So thanks again Suzanne!

~Suzanne and her FOC customers (yeah, Lih yi on the right had her hair cut by Suzanne too!)~

Bye bye long hair!

Excitement

Do friends' birthdays mean lots to you, as it does to me? I have no idea from when onwards my friends and I took birthdays pretty seriously besides the usual birthday cake and song, as you can see in the following examples:-

i) For friend A's birthday, we did a really touching (at least I think so) movie clip of individual happy birthday wishes from every class member, happy birthday song that was sung together when my other friend "took her to the toilet", plus some camwhoring pics... and it was put up on the big screen (projector) in class with the lights off... it was oh so romantic!

ii) For friend B's birthday, we blew balloons and filled them up with our wishes to her (they were pieces of paper), so to see the messages she had to pop them... and the funny thing was when we popped some of the balloons at the Inti Subang cafeteria, the uncle working there got a shock and even thought there was an explosion... sorry ah uncle :P

iii) Last but not least, for friend C's birthday we got her the guy she had been liking since primary school to pass the birthday cake to her personally plus give her a birthday present! btw they had been out of contact since form 3 but my friend still liked him... and we managed to find the guy with just 2 pieces of information: his name and his college. Amazing, huh? we couldn't believe it ourselves when we managed to get to him and he was willing to come... one of the most satisfying things that I have ever done in life.. :)

As for the other friends who have upcoming birthdays, we are scheming... and i mean really scheming... don't worry...

Eh. but i'm worried for my birthday le. (which happens to be on 3rd october, fyi...)

Never in a Thousand years...

would I have thought that we could win the Law Olympiad Competition held in HELP Uni College today! (*We= Me+Tiffy+Mei Qi+Zhi Yuan+Lee Kiong)

~*The site of the Law Olympiad held 3 years ago--but looks almost the same*~

Usually I don't really mention stuff going on in my daily (and pretty mundane) life, but this is really really unexpected--a truly pleasant surprise! Reasons that I thought we could not win:

1. There were 41 teams who participated around Selangor (or throughout the country, I don't know), each school sending 2 / 3 teams, including premier schools like Catholic High and Assunta and Damansara Jaya etc. (who some of them may not even know that SMJK Kwang Hua Klang exists)

2. We did not have the past year papers, so we couldn't make much preparation (which some other schools had, but not all)

3. We didn't really know each of the team mates well (some from a different class)

4. Our general knowledge was pretty limited (but we did do some research--which all of them weren't asked)

5. Our school has never won for the past 7 yrs (this is the 8th yr it is being held)

Yes, undeniably my ego and complacency has inflated to a jumbo-sized balloon today but you can't blame me us for winning, right?

Thanks to all the team members for their wonderful work (I personally think I was the weakest link, but we won anyway) and Thank God for this golden opportunity!

This post can be simply summarized into 4 words: bragging about Librainy's victory.

So, what? Sue us!

p.s. sorry for being mean today... The Hyde side of me is running beserk today! It must be power hungry....
